“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,” (Luke 10v41 NIV)
Jesus was so gentle with her and He will be with you.
But He got straight to the point.
Straight to the issue at hand.
He won’t mince His words.
He loves you too much to ignore you.
He knew what was going on inside her.
He knows exactly what is going on inside you.
Let Him speak peace into you.
He can only speak peace into you if you are listening.
If you are afraid that He will tell you something you don’t want to hear, then you are believing a lie.
The lie isn’t that He will tell you something you don’t want to hear.
The lie is that He is angry with you or disappointed in you.
His words to you will be a salve on a troubled mind and heart.
What are your deepest issues?
Are they the ones you hope no-one will ever find out?
Guess what – He already knows and He wants to help.
He wants you to be free.
Ask Him to reveal His love for you in all areas.
Especially those that you are trying to hide from Him and from others.
This is the time and a place, for you to get free from your past.
To be made clean.
Only you can want it.
Only He can do it.
He does it expertly and with deep love for you.
He will reveal His love in those areas that hurt, and bind you up.
He will heal the pain and disappointment.
Let Him do that for you.
He came that you would have life and have it abundantly.
You are cleansed and made free.
He is trying to set you free in your mind, in your thinking.
He sees you as free, so be free.
