At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realise that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.

This shows that they were clueless at the time to the significance of these events.
So be encouraged if you don’t understand everything that is happening around you.
God has a plan and He knows what He is doing and why.
He knows you don’t understand but He asks you to trust Him and believe in Him.
That means believing when He says things that make no sense to you.
It also means believing when He says something to you that you currently have no grid for.
It may not resonate with you at the time but in the future it will.
Do what Mary (His mother) did and store it in your heart.
He may well have said things to you in the past that you have shelved as being irrelevant.
Maybe a prophetic word or picture.
But not everything is as linear and logical as we expect or would like.
Every word He has said to you is a seed that has to die before it can germinate.
It is just waiting for the right moment.
When the soil is just right and the conditions are at their optimum for growth.
Not too late nor too soon.
Then and only then will that word come to life.
Are you ready for when it does?
If not, get yourself ready.
It will germinate one day.
Sooner than you think.
Whatever the delay, it is temporary.
