There is so much that can distract you.
Not just what is going on around you.
But also what is going on inside of you.
If you are distracted or preoccupied.
Then you will not be ready when He knocks at the door.
You may not even hear Him knocking.
Have all your senses on high alert.
As if nothing else matters.
Expect to see or hear something.
You may have to wait.
Be still.
Be quiet.
But be expectant and be excited.
Above all be ready.
The question is are you ready now?
