He always has a reason

So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 
(John 11v41 NIV)

There was a reason for this. 
The timing was perfect. 
Everyone was there who needed to be there. 

This was a sign. 
Jesus trusts His Heavenly Father. 
What was it that the Father heard?

What did Jesus say to Him?
There were two things that Jesus was demonstrating. 

Firstly, that He was the son of God. 
Secondly, that the Father had sent Him. 

Eventually they removed the stone. 
Jesus didn’t immediately command Lazarus to come out. 
Instead He thanked His heavenly Father. 

This is a very interesting interaction.
