The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. (Matthew 13v22 NIV)
It is quite one thing to accept what He says.
It is quite another thing to put it at the centre of everything you do and are.
What is planted in you needs to grow strong and healthy.
Otherwise you will struggle to thrive.
The word implanted is meant to be taller and stronger than the weeds.
Bigger, better and greater.
Without Him dwelling in you.
You will see no fruit.
For it will not be able to get the nutrients it needs from Him.
He is the light.
He is the living water.
Feed that word planted in you.
The focus isn’t on wealth.
Nor on the fears and the worries that come with it.
For in Him is everything you could possibly want.
His abounding love drives out all fear.
Your hope isn’t in wealth.
Your job is not your security.
Have faith, have an expectation that He will provide.
Believe that He will provide.
His is a better way than the world’s economic system.
His system doesn’t crash.
His kingdom is eternal.
His way is the only way for He is The Way.
There is only one door not lots of doors.
There is only one path not lots of paths.
