Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
(John 12v3 NIV)

The smell that filled the house would’ve lingered long after He left.
I suspect that when Jesus was crucified the soldiers could still smell it on Him.
It is the aroma of Christ.

He would know that this would be the last time He would see Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
The last time He would visit Bethany.
He knew what was about to happen very soon.

It was a special moment for Him.
She poured it on His feet and wiped it with her hair.
She would also smell of the perfume.

What was on Jesus was on her.
The more time you spend with Jesus the more you will be like Him.
You will even smell like Him.

His eternal fragrance can be smelled on us.
People will be able to smell His aroma on you.
Learn to worship Him with complete adoration.

Giving no thought to what others might think.
