So then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead,

He is so gracious that He explained exactly what He meant.
So that they would understand that He knew what was about to happen.
He will speak plainly to you so you are left in no doubt.
If He is being cryptic it is most likely to either teach you a deeper truth.
Or get your attention.
Don’t worry if you don’t understand the significance of everything He says.
In time you will.
You’ll only see the dots joined up when you look back.
