As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
(Luke 7v38 NIV)

This is such an intimate sight.
Notice that Jesus din’t stop her.
He didn’t flinch or recoil even though He knew what kind of lifestyle she led.

There were no words just an act of worship.
She was emotional but that emotion was directed towards Him.
He lay there as her tears wet His feet.

Imagine that.
He didn’t move while she then wiped His feet with her hair.
He didn’t reject her as she then proceeded to kiss His feet.

Neither will He reject you.
No matter what you’ve done or doing.
She then poured this very expensive perfume on Him.

How much do you love Him?
Are you willing to show your affection for Him before others or is that a barrier to you.
What are you willing to do for Him?

What are you not willing to do?
Be honest and realistic in your answers.
It doesn’t mean that a poor response is the end of it.

Quite the opposite it is the start.
Repentance starting with a recognition of where you are at.
He can do a lot with that.
It is called being humble.

You may not be perfect but He loves you perfectly.
